Email Marketing Specs

What is HTML and why do I need it?

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the standard coding language used to display information in web browsers. Coding your marketing emails correctly with HTML is essential to getting the best performance possible from every one of your sends.

Benefits of proper HTML include:

Do I have to code my emails myself?

No! If you have the ability to create your own HTML, you can find our guide to HTML best practices here. If not, CollegiateParent is here to help! You supply the images, copy, and links you want included in your email and we’ll take care of the rest. If you already have a design in mind, we will do our best to match your example. However, not all designs and layouts you may have used in other ads or flyers will be achievable (or a good idea) in your email sends. We have also included a selection of sample designs below to simplify the process. Simply choose the design you like best and supply your own copy, links, and images.
